Even before making landfall in Aurora province, Tropical Storm Juaning has already displayed its might in Bicol and the rest of southern Luzon.

Provinces in that region have already reported massive flooding and landslides, with thousands caught off guard and fleeing into cramped evacuation centers.

In Albay, the lahar from Mayon has complicated the situation for many residents. Towns in Camarines Sur are submerged in flood, while the island province of Catanduanes is now placed under a state of calamity.
