San Agustin, Romblon Wheelchair Distribution

OB's wheelchair mission team in Romblon has just finished its second batch of wheelchair distribution for Tablas Island.

Before residents are given wheelchairs, first they must be assessed by an OB field doctor, and even provided with necessary checkups and medications.
Wheelchair recipients not only receive medical checkups but also prayers of healing from local church partners.
Thin and frail leg bones prevent Jaypee from walking, but he will soon enjoy the beautiful scenery outside his home when he receives his new wheelchair from Free Wheelchair Mission coursed through Operation Blessing.
Beneficiaries came early and excited to receive their new wheelchairs from Free Wheelchair Mission.
Beneficiaries and their caregivers listen to the proper use and care of their new wheelchairs.

We also teach caregivers how to properly and safely transfer the beneficiaries to and from the wheelchair.
Thanks to the generous support of Operation Blessing partners, seven differently-abled and elderly residents of San Agustin and Calatrava towns can now enjoy the beauty of Tablas Island aboard their new wheelchairs.
